EEFL (External Electrode Fluorescent Lamp) differs from other fluorescent
lamps, with its electrodes outside of the Lamp.External electrodes
power the electric field in the lamp,and then plasma come into being,
that cause the emission of light.
Because of this technology, this EEFL does not generate heat itself
and enhances the lifetime improves brightness efficienly. This EEFL
is really the new generation of fluorescent Lamp for lighting.
To avoid negative impedance of common gas charge lamp, EEFL external
electrode allow high frequency voltage function via capacitance
coupling. As a result of this, parallely connected EEFL can be driven
by one ballast.
